The Life of
Lynn Stoll

Lynn Stoll Switzer was a visionary professor in the field of Studies in Education. Specifically, she focused on children with learning disabilities and its effect on the family as a whole, not just the child. She noted that parents of children with learning disabilities may benefit from psychological support and assistance. Thus, rather than trying to “fix” the child with learning disabilities, her studies concluded that parents, utilizing their internal resources, can help the identified child reach his or her highest potential.
